Abstract

Fiber wireless convergence enables the game changing architecture to deliver extremely

diverse and demanding services required by 5G and beyond networks. The next generation communication networks are envisioned to exponentially increase the data throughput and capacity of the legacy orthogonal frequency division multiplexing systems while being adaptive to application-oriented services, such as enhanced mobile broadband (eMBB), ultra-reliable and low-latency communication (URLLC) for mission critical applications and massive machine type communication (mMTC) for realizing Internet of Things (IoT) with efficient connectivity.
